The Salty Parrot is a charming 3-bedroom, 2.5-bath beach house located in WindMark Beach Resort, a coastal community between Mexico Beach and Port St. Joe known for its peaceful shoreline and family-friendly atmosphere.
WindMark is set along Saint Joseph Bay, where calm waters make it a great spot for swimming, kayaking, and enjoying the beach. The community features a large heated pool, a children’s playground, and walking, biking, and golf cart paths throughout the neighborhood. Several boardwalks lead to the beach, and many include outdoor showers and water stations for rinsing off after a day in the sand.
Guests can also enjoy additional community amenities, including access to a nearby fitness center where day or weekly passes may be available, as well as shopping and casual treats in the town center. Whether you’re planning a laid-back beach vacation or an active family trip, WindMark offers something for everyone.
At the home, you can relax on the screened porch or enjoy two additional back porches. The first floor includes the living area, kitchen, and dining room, while all three bedrooms and two full bathrooms are located upstairs. If you enjoy cooking during your stay, the kitchen is well equipped with a gas 5-burner stove, generous counter space, ample cabinetry, and a roomy pantry.

For guests looking to explore beyond the resort, Port St. Joe and Apalachicola are both within easy reach and offer additional dining, shopping, and entertainment. Panama City is also close enough for a convenient day trip.
We are dog friendly, with a $225 pet fee for up to 2 dogs. Please keep dogs off the furniture, and note that dogs are welcome on local beaches when kept on a leash. There is also a dog park in the community where they can play off leash.
Please note that WindMark Beach does not allow boats or trailers to be parked overnight or in the driveway.
During your stay, you may also choose to rent a golf cart, bikes, kayaks, or paddleboards from local providers in the area.
Sleeping arrangements:
Master bedroom: King bed with TV
Second bedroom: Queen bed with TV
Third bedroom: Full-over-full bunk beds with TV
The full-size bunks are suitable for one adult or two children per bed.
The upper bunk is not suitable for two adults.

Cancellation policy: full refund minus credit card fees up to 60 days before check-in
Refundable security deposit: $500 per reservation
Travel insurance is recommended, especially for stays during hurricane season from June through November.
